가지않은길

노란숲속에길이두갈래로났었습니다.

나는두길을다가지못하는것을안타깝게생각하면서,

오랫동안서서한길이굽어꺾여내려간데까지,

바라다볼수있는데까지멀리바라다보았습니다.

그리고,똑같이아름다운다른길을택했습니다.

그길에는풀이더있고사람이걸은자취가적어,

아마더걸어야될길이라고나는생각했었던게지요.

그길을걸으므로,그길도거의같아질것이지만.

그날아침두길에는

낙엽을밟은자취는없었습니다.

아,나는다음날을위하여한길은남겨두었습니다.

길은길에연하여끝없으므로

내가다시돌아올것을의심하면서…….

훗날에훗날에나는어디선가

한숨을쉬며이야기할것입니다.

숲속에두갈래길이있었다고,

나는사람이적게간길을택하였다고,

그리고그것때문에모든것이달라졌다고.
