IntheBible,wereadofamanwhowasbornblind.SomepeoplewereaskingJesus,“Whywashebornthisway?”“Whosefaultwasit,hisorhisparents?”Theyweretryingtofindsomeonetoblame,somereason,someexcuseforhiscondition.Andinterestingly,wetendtodothesametypeofthingtoday.ButIlovethewayJesusansweredthem;Hesaid,“It’snotanybody’sfault.ThereasonthismanwasbornthiswaywassothatthegoodnessofGodcouldbedisplayedinhislife.”ThenHetouchedthemanandhealedhim.
Whenyouhaveasetback,whenlifedealsyouatoughblow,whentheeconomyisunstable,don’tgetbitter.Don’tsettlethere.RecognizeyouareaprimecandidateforGodtoshowHisfavorandgoodnessthrough.Whenthestormsoflifecome,yourattitudeshouldbe,“God,I’mready!IknowYouhavesomethinggreatinstore!Irefusetolivedefeatedanddepressed.IknowthisdifficultyissimplyanotheropportunityforYoutoshowYourgoodnessthroughme.”
