AfterJesuswasborn,theBibletellsusinMatthewchaptertwothatWiseMencamefromtheEasttobowbeforeHimandworshipHim.Theywenttogreatlengthsjusttogetaglimpseofthechildandtraveledalongdistanceformanymonths,followingthestar.WhentheysawHim,theyweresooverwhelmed.ThescripturesaystheyfelltotheirfacestohonorandworshipHim.

ThefearoftheLordisthebeginningofwisdom.ThatmeansthatweshouldhaveareverentialhonorandrespectforHim—justliketheWiseMendid.WearewisewhenweseteverythingelseinlifeasideinordertoseekHim.WearewisewhenweworshipHimandgiveHimeverythingthatweare.WearewisewhenwetaketimetohonorHim.Remember,GodisarewarderofthepeoplewhodiligentlyseekafterHim.AsyoucontinuetoputHimfirstinallyoudo,you’llincreaseinwisdomanddiscernment,andyou’llmoveforwardintothelifeofblessingHehasinstoreforyou.
