Doyourealizehowmuchenergyittakestobebitterorholdagrudge?Weonlyhaveacertainamountofenergyforeachday.Ifweuseitforthewrongpurposes,focusedonthenegative,dwellingonwhohurtus,we’renotgoingtohavetheenergyweneedfortherightpurposes.We’renotgoingtomakethebestdecisions.We’renotgoingtobeascreative.We’renotonlydoingourselvesadisservice,butwe’redoingourfamilyandourfriendsadisservice.

Remember,youcan’tcontrolwhatpeopledoorsay.Youcanonlycontrolyourself.Ifyou’reallowingotherstoupsetyou,thenyouaregivingawayyourpower.TheScripturesays,“Don’tletthesungodownonyouranger.”Thereasonmanypeoplehavenojoyorenthusiasmisbecausetheygotobedeverynightwithangerandunforgiveness.Whenyougotobedlikethat,withaclutteredmind,focusedonthenegative,youwakeupwiththesamenegativeemotions.Don’tletangerandunforgivenessblockGod’sblessinginyourlife.Choosetoletthosethingsgosoyoucanliveinthepeace,joy,andpowertheLordhasforyou.
