Everyyearallovertheworld,peoplehonorGoodFridayastheydayJesuswascrucified.Itwasthedarkest,mostpainful,discouragingdayofHislife.Toothers,itlookedasifitwasover.ItlookedasifHisenemieshadgottenthebestofHim.ButGodhadotherplans.Jesus’enemiesputHiminthegraveonFridaycelebratingtheirvictory,butSundaymorningwasadifferentstory.ThegravecouldnotholdHim.Deathcouldn’tcontainHim.Theforcesofdarknesscouldn’tstopHim.Onthethirdday,JesuscameoutofthegraveandHesaid,“Iwasdead,butnowIamaliveforevermore.”

OneprinciplethattheresurrectionteachesusisthatGodwillalwaysfinishwhatHestarted.Nomatterhowdarkitlooks,nomatterhowlongit’sbeen,nomatterhowmanypeoplearetryingtopushyoudown;ifyouwillstayinfaith,GodwillalwaystakeyoufromFridaytoSunday.YouwillseeyourdayofbreakthroughbecauseGodwillcompletewhatHestarted.

Ifyouaregoingthroughadarktimetoday,rememberthatyourdayofresurrection,your“Sunday”isontheway!Keepstanding,keepbelieving,becausesoonyouwillriseupintothehigherplacesHehasinstoreforyou!
