Proverbs28:1tellsusthat“therighteousareasboldasalion.”Buttheonlywayyou’regoingtohavethatkindofboldnessistoknowthatyouhavebeenmaderighteousthroughJesus.WhenyouknowwhoyouareinChrist,whenyouknowthatGodissmilingupononyouandthatyoursinsareforgiven,thenyou’regoingtoholdyourshouldersbackandhavetheboldnessandconfidencethatGodreallywantsyoutohave.

Beingrighteousdoesn’tmeanthatyou’reperfect.Itdoesn’tmeanthatyoudon’tmakemistakes.RighteousnessisbeinginrightstandingwithGod.IfyouhaveacceptedJesusasyourLordandSaviorandhaveadesiretopleaseHim,thenyouhavebeenmaderighteous.YouhavebeenbornintoGod’sveryownfamily.Youdidnotdoanythingtoearnthisrighteousness,it’ssimplyagift.BecauseofJesus’obediencetopaythepriceforoursin,wearemaderighteousthroughHim!ReceiveHisgiftofrighteousnesstodaysoyoucanmoveforwardintheboldnessandvictoryHehasforyou!
