TodayinthetownofDavidaSaviorhasbeenborntoyou;heisChristtheLord.
Thiswillbeasigntoyou:Youwillfindababywrappedinclothsandlyinginamanger."
Suddenlyagreatcompanyoftheheavenlyhostappearedwiththeangel,praisingGodandsaying,
"GlorytoGodinthehighest,andonearthpeacetomenonwhomhisfavorrests."
Whentheangelshadleftthemandgoneintoheaven,theshepherdssaidtooneanother,"Let’sgotoBethlehemandseethisthingthathashappened,whichtheLordhastoldusabout."
SotheyhurriedoffandfoundMaryandJoseph,andthebaby,whowaslyinginthe
manger.
Whentheyhadseenhim,theyspreadthewordconcerningwhathadbeentoldthem
aboutthischild,
andallwhohearditwereamazedatwhattheshepherdssaidtothem.
ButMarytreasuredupallthesethingsandponderedtheminherheart.
Theshepherdsreturned,glorifyingandpraisingGodforallthethingstheyhadheard
andseen,whichwerejustastheyhadbeentold.
