Somanypeopletodayaredepressedanddiscouragedbecausetheyonlyfocusontheirpresentcircumstances.They’reconstantlydwellingontheirproblems,whattheydon’thave,andwhat’swrongwiththem.Theydon’trealizeit,butthey’reallowingtheenemytostealtheirhope.Thisnegativeframeofmindiswhatkeepspeoplefrommovingforwardinlife.

UnderstandtodaythatfaithisconfidenceandassuranceaboutthethingswehopeforaccordingtothepromisesofGod.Likeanarrow,yourfaithpointstothetargetofhope.Ifyoudon’thavehope,thatarrowoffaithwilljustdroptotheground.Itwon’taccomplishanything.But,whenyoukeepyourhopesup,whenyoukeepexpectingandkeepbelieving,it’sasifthattargetgetslargerandlarger—easiertohit!

Choosetodaytolivewithanattitudeofexpectancy.Getyourhopesup!Startbytakingcaptiveanynegativethoughtsyoumayhaveoneatatime.AsyoufocusonGod’sgoodnessandfaithfulness,you’llfeelthathopeinsideyougrowing.You’llgiveyourfaithatarget,andyou’llmoveconfidentlyintotheblessingsandpeacetheLordhasinstoreforyou!
