그림제목하나찾을게있어돌아다녔더니
작품명도없이empasnaveryahoo어쩌면그리도똑같은이미지들이떠다니는지요
단한군데작품제목이있었는데그림에글자가새겨져있어서되돌아나왔습니다
열불나서맘먹고잉타이뿌릴뽑았어요…그의작품모두를…ㅎㅎㅎ
브론즈조각도페인팅도화제는여자(남자),아이,악기들이더군요
표정들이개성있고맘이평화로워지는특성이있네요

MultipleImpressionshasbeenproudtorepresenttheinternationallyrecognizedartistEngTayfortwentyyears.SincehismovefromKedahinWestMalaysiatotheUnitedStatesin1968,Tayhassuccessfullypursuedacareerasnotonlyanoriginalprintmaker,butalsoasapainterandsculptor.HecompletedstudiesattheArtStudentsLeague,theSchoolofVisualArts,andalsoPrattGraphicsCenter,allinNewYork.

EngTaydrawshisinspirationfrombothEasternandWesternsources,asheiscurrentlybasedintheU.S.buttravelsregularlytoEasternAsiawhereheexhibitsextensively.Infact,Tay’sworkcanbefoundinsuchprestigiouscollectionsasthoseoftheAlorSetarMuseuminMalaysia,theTaipeiFineArtsMuseuminTaiwan,andtheFukuyamaMuseumofArtinJapan.Locally,hisworkisinthepermanentcollectionofMultipleImpressionsinSoho,andhasbeencollectedbyN.Y.U.’sDepartmentofAnthropology.

EngTay’sremarkablepopularityisduegreatlyinparttohisdedicationtothethemesoffamilyandcompanionship.Hissoftlinesandwarm,earthyhuesareperfectlysuitedfortheseimagesofadoringcouples,ceremonialgatherings,andparentswiththeirchildren.Heeffectivelycommunicatesbothunityandharmonythrougheachmediuminwhichheworks,creatingalanguagewhichisatonceeasilyunderstandableanddeeplymoving.

Taystrivesconstantlytoachieveadialoguebetweenhimselfandcollectorsofhiswork,onewhich"anyonecanread,"andonewhichcommunicatestoallthebeautifulharmoniesoflife.Thisgoalistheoneheworkstowarddaily,forinhisownwords:
