가까운분으로부터부탁을받고아래와같이말비야나가르경찰서장앞으로보내는편지를썼다.황급한부탁이기에시간이촉박했지만,돌아가신최선생님을생각하며열심히써보았다.
최선생님께서아무런연고없이돌아가신후,엉뚱한인도인이집에들어와엉망으로만들어버리고있는현실을그냥두고보고만있을수는없다.한국대사관에서도협조하여일이원만하게해결되었으면하는바램이다.

Wewouldliketoexplainabouttheinvolvedpeopleindetailsasbelow: LateMr.InCheol,Choi,whosebaptisednameisJames,wasborninHamhung,NorthKoreain1928. HejoinedinPeople’sArmyinNorthKoreaduringKoreanWarin1950andasawarprisoner(POW),he imprisonedinPrisoners’campinGeojeIslandinSouthKorea.AttheendoftheKoreanWar,theTrucewas drawnbyIndiangovernmentand88prisonersamongGeojePOWcamp(Korean76,Chinese12)wantedtogoto thethirdcountryinsteadofreturningtoSouthorNorthKorea. TheyarrivedinMadras,IndiainFeb.1954togotothethirdcountry.Thentwoyearslaterin1956, aftergettingpermissionofacceptancesomePOWmovedtoSouthAmericalikeBrazilorArgentina.But eightPOWincludingtheaboveMr.ChoiwantedtostayinIndia,fourofthemdecidedtoleadtheirlives inDelhi. Mr.ChoihadlearntthetechniqueofPhotoRetouchingwhenhewasinKorea,sohegotthejobinIndian government.HehadworkedforIndianCultureandCommunicationDept.inIndianArmyasaphotographic workerfor20years.(1958-1977)AndhebecamethefirstnaturalizedpersonasanIndian. In1978,20yearslaterhewasemployedaslocalstaffoftheKoreanEmbassyinIndiaandhadworkedfor 22yearsuntilretirementinAug.1999.(1978-1999)WhenheretiredfromtheEmbassyofKorea(South),he gotreceivedalotofretirementallowancefromtheEmbassy.HegavesomeloantoIndianpeople (Mr.ManjeetSinghwhoisaccusednow)andhepurchasedaflatinMalviyaNagar.(address:2ndfloor, 7/100MalviyaNagar) partnerrelationship.(nomarriage) LikeIndianlegacy,weKoreansalsohavethegoodmoraltorespecttheoldandhelpthem.SoOurKorean CathoicsocietyhavetakencareofMr.ChoiinmanywaysbecauseMr.Choiwastheoldestpersoninour CatholicGroupandlivedalone. EspeciallyMrs.Ji’sfamilyhelpedhimalot.Mr.JiandMr.ChoiwerethesamePOWsettledinDelhi. citizen,weregardedMr.ChoiasoneofourKoreansbecausehehadsurvivedthroughsuchadifficult wars,ideologyproblemsandyears.Allofuscontinuedtohelphiminfinance,food,andclothes. EvenhisdeadbodywasfoundbyourCatholicgroupwhopreparedsomefoodandvisitedeveryWed. Mrs.JiandourCatholicgoupofpeopletookpartinthefuneralserviceandeveryexpenseswascovered byMrs.Ji. AfterthefuneralinApril19,2010,wemetabigproblem. toleavehiscountryagainsthiswill. Wedon’tknowmuchabouttheIndianLawbutwehavebeenwaitingforpassing49daystomourn(Weregards thesoulasremainingonthegroundtill49daysafterthefuneral) Ofcourse,Mrs.JiwhosehusbandwasthefellowPOWandhelpedMr.Choiinmanywaysclosedtheentrance doorandlockedit.Howeveramancalledasarelativebyhimself,Mr.ManjeetSinghbrokethelocksand tookoutallthepreciousthingsandinstalledthenewlocks.Heactedlikehisinheritor. WhoisMr.ManjeetSingh? HeisthehusbandofthewomanwhosesistergotmarriedtheMr.Choi’slive-inTibetanwoman’shusband. Norelationshipatall,evenhebollowedalotofmoneyfromMr.Choilongtimeagoandweknowthathe rarelyreturnedMr.Choi’smoney.That’sthereasonhevisitedMr.Choi’shousetimetotimeandgave somehelpinghandstoMr.ChoibeforeMr.Choidied.That’sall.
