체 게바라 ‘자전거여행’ 동행 A. 그라나도 別世

쿠바사회주의혁명지도자체게바라(1928-1967)의

의과대학재학시절’자전거여행’에동행했던,

게바라의친구알베르트그라나도(AlbertoGranado)가

88세를일기로쿠바에서사망했다고

영국의BBC가6일보도했다.

게바라는부에노스아이레스의과대학에재학중이던1951년,

라틴아메리카의혁명을꿈꾸며8개월간에걸쳐모터가달린

자전거로라틴아메리카를여행하면서인민들이처한현실과

사회적모순을몸소체득한다.

이때동행한자가그의의과대학친구였던그라나도이다.

게바라는쿠바혁명성공후1959년그라나도를쿠바에초청해보금자리를마련해준다.

게바라의자전거여행은이후’모터사이클일기(MotorcycleDiary)’란책으로출간됐으며,

2004년영화로도제작됐다.

그라나도의유해는그의유언에따라화장돼쿠바와아르헨티나,그리고게바라가죽은

볼리비아에뿌려지게된다고쿠바방송이보도했다.

CubanstatemediasaidhediedofnaturalcausesinHavana.

AfterarrivinginCubain1961,GranadotaughtbiochemistryatHavanaUniversity.

Hisbodyistobecrematedandaccordingtohiswishes,theashesaretobespreadinCuba,ArgentinaandVenezuela,Cubantelevisionsaid.

GranadowasborninCordoba,Argentina,on8August1922andmetGuevaraasachild.
