내가 본 시민권 시험 문제

드디어 캐나다 시민권 시험을 보았습니다.

저는 노란색 표지의 2번 유형을 풀었습니다.

앞 뒤 옆 모두 다른 색깔의 문제였지요.

 

모두 20문제였는데 대체로 아주 기본적이고 상식적이고

시민권자로서 꼭 알아야될 권리와 의무 사항이 주로 출제 되었더군요.

 

우선 1번은

1,What is the capital city of Canada?(캐나다 수도는 어디인가?)

-OTTawa

 

2.What song is Canada’s national anthem?(캐나다 국가는 무엇인가?)

-O Canada(우리의 애국가와 같음)

 

정말 너무도 간단하고 쉬운 두 문제를 풀고 부터는 그래도 생각은 조금 해야 되는

문제들이 나오기 시작했습니다.

 

번호는 일일이 기억을 못하지만

나온 문제들을 정리해 보겠습니다.

-What does Confederation mean?(컨페더레애션의 의미는?)

(Joining together to create the new country of Canada)

 

-What is the Canadian Constitution?(캐나다 헌법은 무엇을 말하는가?)

-In What year did Canada become a country?(캐나다가 국가로 지정된 연도는?)

-which four provinces joined together in Confederation?(컨페더레이션에 함께 동참한 4개주는 무엇인가?)

-When is Canada Day and what does it celebrate?(카나다 데이는 언제이며 무엇을 기념하는가?)

(July 1,the anniversary of Confederation)

 

-What is the part of the Constitution which legally protects the basic rights and freedoms of all Canadians?(모든 케네디언들의 기본권과 자유를 법적으로 보장해주는 헌법의 이름은?)

(Charter of Right and Freedom)

 

-List four fights Canadian citizens have.(캐나다 시민권자가 갖는 4가지 권리는 무엇인가)

(1-Be a Candidate in federal and provincial/territorial elections

2-Learn in either offical language

3-Vote in federal and provincial/territorial elections

4-to apply for a Canadian passport

5-Enter and leave Canada freely)

 

-Name six responsibilities of citizenship?(시민권자의 의무 6가지는 무엇인가?)

(1-Voting 2-obeying 3-working to help other in the community 4-expressing opinions freely while respecting the rights and freedoms of others 5-duty 6-caring for Canada’s heritage 7-eliminating discrimination and injustice)

 

-Which mountain range forms a border between Alverta and B.C.?(알버타주와 브리티시 컬럼비아주의 경계를 만드는 산맥의 이름은?)

 

(Rocky Mountains)

 

-What do you call the Queen’s representative in the province and territories?(각 주와 준주에 있는 여왕의 대리인들을 무엇이라 부르는가?)

(lieutenant Governors)

 

-What is Canada’s system of government called?(캐나다 정부 시스템을 무엇이라 부르는가?)

(Paliament Democracy)

 

-what are the three levels of government in Canada called?(캐나다에서 3개로 나누어진 정부를 무엇이라 부르는가?)

(Federal/Provincial and Territorial/Municipal)

 

-Expain how the three levels of government are different(3개 차원의 정부가 각각 어떻게 다른지 그 차이점을 설명하라)

(1-federal Government takes major responsibility lf Canada such as national defence.foreign policy and citizenship

2-Province /Territorial Government : For things that affect the province such as education,health,highways 3-Municipal

government:Local affairs such as policing.fire fighting.snow removal.)

 

 

-Give an example lf how you can care for Canada’s natural heritage(캐나다의 자연 유산을 지키기 위해 할 수 있는 일을 예를 들어 보아라)

(joining a community group such as an environmental group/volunteering to work on the community)

 

-How are Menbers of Parliament chosen?(국회의원은 어떻게 선출되는가?)

(voting by people)

 

-What is a ballot?(투표용지란 무엇인가?)

(a form for voting)

이 문제들은 모두 4지선다형이어서 답하기가 수월했습니다.

 

문제 유형마다 다른데 제가 본 시험은 이런 내용의 문제들이었지요.

혹시 참고가 되실 분들이 계실 지 몰라서 올려 보았습니다.

 

기억이 잘 안나는 것도 있는데 기억나는대로 적어 보았습니다.

 

시민권 시험을 보시지 않는 분들이라도 캐나다에 대해 조금이라도 알 수 있는 기회가

될 수 있을 것 같습니다.
