성 소수자(性少數者) “LGBTQ”는 무슨 뜻?

요즈음에 보면, 아주, 공개적으로 쓰고 있는 단어들이 있습니다.
매스컴(Masscom)에서도 공공연하게 사용되고 있으며…
길거리에서, 무지개 깃발을 휘날리면서,
Pride parade 라는 것도 하고 있는데요…
性(성) 少數者 “LGBTQ”는 무엇의 略字(약자)이며,
또한 무슨 뜻을 가지고 있는 것입니까?

답변:

LGBTQ 는
“Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans-sexual(Transgender), Queer”
의 줄임말(略語)입니다.

과거에는, 性 少數者(성소수자) 사회(community)에서,
사용되던 언어였지만…
현재에는, 차별 금지법에 의하여,
“性(성, Gender) 차별 금지”가, 엄격하게 시행되고 있고…
또한, 그들에 대한 권리가 보장되어 있기 때문에…
LGBTQ라는 말도, 공공연하게 표현할 수 있는
자유(自由)가 보장되어 있습니다.
