밖에 나 다니면서 혼자 밥 사먹기는 여러모로 궁상맞다. 뭘 먹을까부터 어디로 갈까도 그렇고, 또 분위기와 시선도 약간 고려해야 한다. 이런 적잖은 고민(?)이 사람을 궁상스럽게 하는 것이다. 하지만 시도 때도 없이 달겨드는 주신(酒神)의 손짓은 그깟 궁상스러움을 날려 버린다. 한나절 시내를 다니다 혼자서 외식을 할 때에는 술이 꼭 따라진다는 얘기다.
